Antique Spanish Knot Sword - Middle S.XIX - SOLD

Title: Knot sword

Description: Exhibition copy, possibly presented as master test. Leaf of four tables, with letters marked in their grooved ones (difficult to identify). In the recazo and for both sides, very marked punch that a character represents with a lance and another figure. Notable and of great complexity it is the work of the knot and hilt, with a series of spiral solids, some of them containing another in their interior. The making unions are not perceived.

Time: Middle S.XIX

Origin: Probably Spanish

Conservation: Very good, with dark pátina.

Long. total: 132 cm - 51.97" inches

Observations: It can be considered a work forge teacher. Very precise and well finished elaboration.
